I was born and raised in Syracuse, NY. I attended Cornell University for my undergraduate education, majored in Human Biology, Health, and Society, and graduated with a BS with Honors and Distinction. For my medical training I attended Weill Cornell Medical College and graduated AOA with Academic Distinction. My internal medicine training was completed at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, MA. I am currently a Duke general cardiology fellow and plan to start my clinical cardiac electrophysiology training at Duke in July 2017. I plan to have a career in academic medicine. My research interests include pacing in heart failure and the development and study of new technologies in electrophysiology. In my free time, I enjoy cooking, running, and spending time with my wife, Jeannine, and Marston, our chocolate lab.
